Really impressive place. Even more special, when you know, that only with your foot you can reach this paradies - no cars, no boats helps you:) You should visit this place in the morning, or not late afternoon (because later - about 17-18 AM comes shoddow). As I saw, this trekking is possible fr everyone, who can walk - even... More

We set out for cala goloritze at 11:40 am from the car park at su perteddu not realizing what wonder awaited us! The trek down took us 1 hour and 10 minutes. The terrain is uneven under foot and downhill so your knees will ache after a while but bear in mind that you are surrounded by nature and the... More

Rivalling the very best, Cala Goloritze is that kind of unique place which builds memories to last a lifetime. I hiked Cala Goloritze last August, following the path starting from Golgo plateau which goes down through junipers, oaks and rosemary bushes. I've reached Cala Goloritze after one hour and so; a stunning beach with small white pebbles and blue water... More

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Just stunning. The beach can on be reached on foot and not by boat. We hiked to the beach. It's quite an easy one and so worth all the efforts. Drive to the Su Porteddu Car park in Baunie. There is a bar at the car park where you can... More

Super place. When tide is in there is NO beach. Super walk to get there. Take road from highest point in Baunei up to Golgo and Su Porteddu. There is a bar at Su Porteddu where you can leave your car. The entrance to the walk is 40 yards further on from where you came into the car park.It will... More

unforgettable experience. The beach is amazing. The route to the beach also is a unique experience. Must visit if you are in Sardinia, just take some water, good shoes and good mood :) The walk is enjoyable and not frustrating.

Can anybody actually say anything negative about this place? It simply is a piece of heaven, understandably a UNESCO spot. It can't be reached by car, and boats (leaving either from Santa Maria Navarrese or Cala Gonone) cannot reach the beach to let passengers off. My recommendation is to reach it through the hiking route that leaves from the Altopiano... More

We visited Cala Goloritze in October and I must say, it was the best experience ever. At this time there isn't a lot of people but you can still swim in the sea - and it's fantastic. The color of the water is unbelievable shade of blue and green and there are some fish you can watch if you have... More

Beautiful beach. Arrived here via boat from S. Maria Navarrese. Blue/emerald water and silky sand. But do not go in August. It becomes too crowded and the beauty disappers.

Our hotel in Cala Gonone (the Miramare) helped us book a small boat in order to visit the spectacular beaches on the coast. It's the only way to see the world famous Cala Goloritze beach (about 50 minutes away). They chose the Cielomar company but there were many others (Italian, English and French speaking). This splurge of €150 (boat and... More
