It's a beautiful beach and promenade. In the summer it is ideal for kids, with lots of things to do.

Very clean, lovely promenade lined with good quality eateries,no bingo or casinos,charming bathing huts,sit outside, drink a beer and people watch ,great sand for sandcastles, not over commercial

While on a day trip to Adinkerke for cheap tobacco, my wife asked a shop assistant where else we could go to spend the rest of the day and we were recommended to visit De Panne. Large, clean beach with soft golden sand. Lots of cafes on the sea front, plenty of free parking near by (avoid the 15 euro/day car park at the end of the beach!). Large beach with a beautiful side walk. During summertime beach is daily cleaned. A lot of cafes, brasseries and restaurants.
This beech is large and very clean. The sand is soft to walk on without shoes. Great place for families wanting a day by the sea. The local stores and cafes are meters away, and good to get snacks and such. Overall, a nice place to visit for a few days in a warm summer
