Its Much better than Calangute Beach. This is less crowded, the crowd is more decent. Thought we preferred the Varca Beach to this. Varca is were we stayed and it is very calm and cleaner compartively.

Baga beach is a good beach with plenty of shacks for drinks and food. Sand is white and water is clean. Its more popular with European tourists.

Baga is popular with the domestic tourists and can be very busy and also can become littered with bottles and other rubbish as they dont seem to have much of an idea about the environment and littering!! its golden sand and has sunbeds and beach shacks and is great if you dont mind the crowds

The beach is very good..but crowded one for the couples, a lot of things happening here! Open restaurants, music, bars just add to its beauty during the evening time, still remember the brunch had in the candle night on the front of the beach! Should visit this place.

Watersports over here is also prominent, not as much as calungute though. The crowd here is also very good. It... More

Nice Clean beach with loads of beach restaurants. Load of activities if you are into water sports. Beware of the beach side sellers as they could become a pain.

Baga beach is one of the most populated beach of Goa. The kind of people who come here are mostly youngsters, and people who want to do water sports. Love the shacks there. Especially the L.A.Shack next to Brittos and Bistros. There are masseuse who will provide you a good full body massage right on the beach for 45 mins... More
