only got off the bus and waited for the next bus back because there were too many grubby looking bars and strip joints. The hotels outside of the resort looked ok

Dirty, grey sand and the surrounding area is a slum. Unless you want to party, tjs is no place for families.

Not as good as I remember in 1999!!!! Not as clean as it could be but still better than teh pebbles on the west side of the island, worth a visit. Faliraki is very rund down though.

Really nice beach, shallow for a long way out so nice for children and lots of sand. Lots of nice tavernas along the beach too, particularly Dimitris, he serves great food at a good price. If your children are fussy there's even a McDonalds!

We stopped there as part of an excursion and unless your under 22 or brain dead I can't think of any less attractive spots tacky and seedy even during the day can't imagine what it's like at night. I would not stay there even if it was free.

Faliraki is a resort who's star is fallen. I first visited Faliraki in 2001, it was the hedonistic place you had seen on TV or heard rumours of. Dozens of bars, nightclubs, the youth of Europe throwing off its inhibitions both in the day and at night. Then the fall. Either the place has fallen out of favour of today’s... More
