You really do take your life in your hands when you try and cross the road in Italy - crazy drivers. They don't stop for you at crossings either. The bike/scooter riders are even worse - suicidal I would say.

We were lucky to find Americo (pronounced ame-RI-co) Scala. Our hotel in Sorrento arranged to have him pick us up at the airport. We were 3 people with 3 large suitcases and 3 hand baggages. We informed the hotel ahead of time and Americo came with a new van that could seat 7-8 people. He waited for us for over...

The divers in Sorrento are not bad, you just have to get in the groove, pay attention and go with the flow. They don't use their horns much especially if you keep moving. It may be a good idea to fold you side mirrors in on the smaller streets. Don't be shy and remember its a fun experience.

We recently stopped in Naples on our cruise and used the services of Raffaele with Sorrento Car Drivers. We had the most memorable tour of the Amalfi coast from a seasoned local followed by a tour of Pompeii with the help of an excellent guide arranged for us. The food was fantastic and the views from the restaurant was fantastic....
