The trail to Vernal and Nevada Falls, was very busy with lots of people, but there was room for everyone. The hike itself took about 5 hours. Take drinks and snacks with you. The views were great and the experience top notch. One of our most remembered hikes.

We hiked beyond the footbridge but stopped before the steep steps that were covered in mist. The hike was strenuous but if was definitely doable and so worth the effort. The views were spectacular. We did this hike around 9:45 in the morning which was a good time because the trail was not too crowded.

The walk up gives you a nice view of Little Yosemite Valley before turning the corner to view the falls. The river running of it is spectacular on it's own. We were there after the snow had melted so the water volume was tremendous.

I was reluctant to take this hike because the map indicated it was a strenuous. They weren't kidding. Not only is the elevation challenging, you are hiking up slick granite rocks with about 100 other people going in both directions. At least the mist from the falls kept you somewhat cool. After making it to the top, we decided to... More

The waterfall is a stunning view!!!!! It's so beautiful that we just stood in awe. The hiking up to the top of waterfall is about 2-3 hours. Going up can be challenging as some spots get quite steep but coming down is easy. We went there in April and the hike path was still icy and slippery so be extra... More

We did this hike in 1h 20m and loved it. Careful, it is not an easy hike. Lots of people do it, but make sure to stop and breathe. The top of the falls are the best: a worthwhile reward for the hard work. There will plenty of opportunities for pictures. Loved it.

Spectacular 320 foot plunge waterfall will leave you soaked if you reach it via the Mist Trail during the springtime snowmelt. Pack a lunch to eat on the large granite apron at the top of the falls.

It was a strenuous hike for me (a bit unfit:) but so worth the effort! The views of the mountains and getting to the waterfall at the end with a lovely mist of water drenching us was lovely! We were quite hot by the time we had climbed up there that it was good to get a bit wet.

Very hard work (for an old gaffer of 56) but so worth it. When you a on face-to-face terms with a a rainbow created by the waterfall's mist you know you are doing something very special.

Hiked to the footbridge with our two small children. This is a popular hike so expect lots of company. 400 ft elevation gain can be difficult for kids.
