We were here in this area to see 'Bedford Falls' and stopped in to see this very informative museum. We really liked the displays and they were very well done. We also enjoyed the exhibits downstairs, simple tools used by the early settlers. There is not a fee but they ask for donations. The two ladies on duty this day... More

My wife and I stopped to get information and spent a hour talking with the staff and looking around the museum. This is a great place to visit

Small storefront museum with some dated displays. The attendant was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm sure they are doing the best they can with funds available

The Canals of New York and the industry that followed are really something to consider. Today you see a sleepy town, but this region of the country had a lot to do with the rise of America as an industrial power and shouldn't be overlooked. Location is in a storefront. The museum is located in a storefront that overlooks the Erie Canal in the heart of Seneca Falls.
