This is one of the oldest art museums in the US and worth every minute you can afford to walk its stately halls and stairways. We were particularly interested in an exhibit of Art Nouveau jewelry and glasss when we visited. Even bought a lovely blue/purple vase to remember the exhibit by.

The museum itself has a great quality and diversity of art and exhibits, however the staff are less than helpful. We arrived with my preschooler and were told we couldn't have his diaper bag with us (?) but we weren't informed they offered strollers for free for children. Cincinnatians are blessed with a world class Art Museum with an incredible collection of Antiquities as well. It's free because of early citizens with the means donated sums so that the musem is endowed..forever. A true jewel in the Queen City's crown.

Everything is free except for special exhibits and parking, but there are plenty of world-class works of art. A must for all art lovers.

This is a gem for the city of Cincinnati. The art is fantastic and the special exhibits are always beautiful and informative. Admission is free; however, they "ding" you about $4 for parking.

I'm used to big city museums and only went here for the temporary Nick Cave exhibit. What a great surprise to find the museum was a real gem throughout.
