Great to see an expansive park in the midst of the city. This park can also be a short cut to the hotels and eateries located near the Hilton Hawaiian Village from Kalakaua Ave.

I am Military Retired so I stay in the Hale Koa Army Rec Center Hotel on the Park. But the Park is open to the public including the beach rentals and the sand volleyball courts. Keeps it from being developed by hotels.. green grass at the beach iis a luxury and plenty space for picnic.. museum and big parking lot for military people.. should make that park as well.. cover the parking lot with solar panels
