This was a fun adventure for our 2 1/2 yr old toddler who walked for about 1/2 of the 60-minute tour. Dream Lake was one of the highlights - a small pool provides a mirror-like reflection of the stalactites. We were worried about our toddler getting restless during the tour, but it moves enough to keep most kids happy and... More

I visited with my parents in the early 50s and again with my children in the mid 80s. Now, I am almost 70 and it was worth every bit of the price of admission. we have been to ice caves in Austria, Carlsbad Caverns in NM, Mammoth Cave in KY and caves all over the world and Luray Caverns in... More

Tour group was large and loud, but tour itself was well run. The caverns are awesome to see and would highly recommend stopping here to area visitors

I had not heard of Luray Caverns until I drove past the sign entering Luray. On advise of the clerk at the motel, I went and took the tour. What a delight. The views are outstanding, the tour guide was outstanding, and the pace of the walking was slow enough that even people who had problems walking were able to... More

Visited Luray Caverns on May 4. The cavern is really quite spectacular. Definitely something to see in a lifetime. The tour guide was TERRIBLE. Could not understand a word he said. The awful tour guide did not ruin the trip. The cavern is wonderful, and you get to see so much of it on the tour. It was a little... More

Definitely something everyone should see in their lifetime. It will take your breath away. The guides are very knowledgeable and lend a bit of comedy to the tour as well. Very entertaining.

This is an amazing place to spend a day. The caverns are awesome, my 12 year old was truly enraptured at the caverns. The organ music is a must see and hear. Included in the price of our ticket was a trip to an auto museum which was fun too. Then of course we had to concur the maze, which... More

I hadn't been to the Luray Caverns since I was a young teen in the 1950's. My husband had never been there, so even though I thought I might be bored, I agreed to go. To my surprise I enjoyed the experience tremendously. Discovered in 1878 before there was much awareness about preservation, tourists were permitted to break off pieces... More
