My stepson graduated and all the people were so nice It was a great time and the base is so pretty!! And also big Very proud of the graduates!!

I visited the graduation of an airman... We saw the aircraft display, went to the Class6, the Gateway Club, and just kinda drove around this MEGA base. Graduation doesn't actually start until 9:00 am. Get there a little early because its hard to find a parking space. But you could just walk from the front gate.

I am a retired wife of 20 year AF security forces. Lackland is one of our favorite bases! we love to visit and the bx (as well as the stores outside of the bx) are pretty nice!

Visited here to see nephew graduate from AIr Force BMT (Basic Military Training). Well organized for the families, but directions on where to go when you first get there is very lacking. Truly enjoyed visiting where my daughter lived for 8.5 weeks. Everyone was super friendly and we enjoyed walking around base seeing the parade grounds, dorms, and museums.

This base is awesome! Went for a family member's graduation from BMT and thought...Wow...how clean and accommodating. Stayed on base the whole weekend and room service was good. Would stay again if I could.
