This train ride has become a traditional ending to a days visit at the zoo. We began doing it with our first grandchild over 15 years ago and continue doing it with our youngest, now five. A 20 minute ride that allows stops at both the Witte Museun and the Japanese Tea Garden -- both great additional places to visit... More

It was fun to ride the train. It is not a big ride but is enough to satisfy your curosity. Kids as usual will love the train ride. Doesnt cost much. You can hop in and out all day and see the entire park.

It was a nice smooth ride though a beautiful park. You go over a beautiful bridge. The train is very nice.

The look on my granddaughter's face was pure excitement and exultation from the moment we bought our tickets, to pulling out of the station, to crossing the little bridges over the San Antonio River, to each stop along the way. This is a wonderful fantasy ride for kids of all ages.

We had a great time with our toddler. The ride is only $3.25 a person and lasts quite a while, in fact, a little too long for an almost 2 year old. It didn't help that the driver changed the propane tank in the middle of the ride. But, it will drop you off at a couple places, including the... More

This train has been a hit with children & adults alike for many, many years. In our over-typed world it's such a pleasure to have an old-fashioned ride through beautiful Brackenridge Park on this miniature train, complete with costumed engineer, rail crossing signs, and whistle. The ride is just long enough so that by the time the novelty has worn... More

Nice ride through the good sized Brackenridge Park. The engineer was very entertaining in his story telling during the ride.

This is usually what my kids look forward to most whenever we are finished at the zoo next door. It's a nice way to sit and relax. Easy way to see parts of the park and surrounding areas.

I road the Brackenridge train on a visit to San Antonio before I moved down here. It's a fun little way to see the park especially if you have little children.

We were in San Antonio for spring break with our kiddos. The train ride was inexpensive and a lot of fun on a pleasant day. The only reason I didnt say 5 was because the usual stop at the Witte Museum was cancelled due to the spring break crowd, cramping my plans for that day. Even so, the train is... More
