Did the hour ride as we have smaller kids. The wranglers were helpful and pleasant. Scenery was nice. Ran about $38 per person. Kids really had a good time

Thought we would add horseback riding to our list while staying at the YMCA. Not with Jackson, they were closed. This was not clear in the cabin handbook, took a call to the winter number for the stables to figure it out. Maybe next time.
Riding horses is always amazing and at the Jackson stables, it was very fun. the length of the ride didn't seem very long but the scenery is beautiful.
A beautiful setting, we began at the stables by the river. And climbed to magnificent views very quickly! Tour guides were awesome! Got caught in an afternoon storm, but they provided ponchos and it just made it more memorable!
We stayed at the YMCA of the Rockies, and made sure we signed up for the hayride & marshmallow roast. This was one of the highlights for our 6 & 2 year old kids. They enjoyed letting their feet dangle from the wagon while the horses pulled us along.
My 7 year old daughter and I went on the 1 hour intro ride and it could not have gone better. It was just the 3 of us (including the awesome wrangler Kristin) so it was a really relaxing personalized experience. My daughter was a bit nervous at first but Kristin talked her through it and we are already planning...

This was our fourth horseback ride in Estes Park and by far the best one!! We took the Moraine Park ride which led us into the RMNP and across Moraine Park. The views were spectacular!!! Our lead riders were very knowledgeable about the area and controlled the horses very well. We had to make one unscheduled stop to take cover...

Four of us made reservations for a Thursday morning ride at 10:45. I recommend calling ahead as fills quickly and groups are big. 10:30 group was easily 30 people.... We arrived by 10:10 and got signed in. Stables are clean and horses look healthy. Staff very kind. They speak to each person on riding experience and then match you to...

First horseback ride for our child that went any length of time. We took the one-hour intro ride, and it was freat. Went into the national park on trails at the Y of the Rockies. They give an adequate into for new riders. It is beautiful property, and the wranglers are friendly and accessible.
Drive into the magnificent YMCA of the Rockies and you will find this great stable - and the most fabulous resort and conference center. This stable is run by very nice and competent staff. The horses are well cared for.
