We went to Explora because the Children's Museum is closed on Mondays. We were not disappointed at all! Our 4 and 8 year old boys loved every minute, and we were there all day! It was very hands on, and entertaining. I would suggest anyone with children go visit. It's worth the trip. We stopped midway and had lunch at... More

My grandson loves Explora, and so do I. they have exhibits geared to all ages., and fun experiments you can do. This is a great place to have a kid's Birthday party (just got an idea: an adult's B-Day party there would also be a gas). You party in a separate room (or outside in a patio), and the staff... More

This is a must see if you are traveling with Children in Albuquerque. Great, interactive exhibits and super engaged staff makes this a wonderful place for kids from age 2 and up. There is even a special spot for the little ones.

After seeing so many great reviews I was excited to take my 1 & 3 year old boys here. I was expecting more for their age group- more children's museum type things. However it was much more of a science center. It would be awesome for older kids but I didn't feel like it was worth the cost for my... More

As a preschool teacher turned nanny I give this place four thumbs up (mine and my charge). One of the very few shining gems in his city. A ton of hands on exhibits much like any other science museum.

Took three kids aged 4 to 10 and there was something for all of them. They didn't want to leave. Interesting things for adults, too like the bicycle on the tightrope (had to be a certain age and weight to try this). Didn't seem too crowded, we were there on a Sunday shortly after it opened. Only left because my... More

This kept all ages busy with lots of variety of things to do. It was also economical with other museums close by.

It is perfect for the young and old and all ages in-between. Children will enjoy for hours, no matter the age. I have told myself I will not say to my twin grandsons "It is time to go now", no matter how long we are there. They are nine now and it has been the same since they were two.

This is a wonderful museum. There are a lot of things for children (and adults) to see, touch, experience and learn from it. My children loved it and so did I. I even managed to lose my camera at one of the stations. A kind and helpful member of the staff helped me find it. Thank you!
