Of all the beaches we visited, we had the most fun here. There were plenty of man-o-wars and seaweed clusters, but less than on other beaches and there were several covered tables dotting the shoreline to provide a nice base for a family's day out.

The beaches are scattered about from maintained to completely disgusting. It seems like its best to just get lucky with a good spot.

Spent a day here a beautiful beach along the national sea shore,very clean and the park staff keeps everything A-One was hoping to see the sea turtles because they had a flier up about the sea turtles but we didn't see any,but next time in Texas will go back to Corpus Christi again and come back to this jewel

I have visited The national sea shore numerous times in my 3 months here in corpus. They have bird watching, beach walk and talk, and a deck presentation. This beach is quite stunning, and I was hoping to see sea turtles but I didn't. It was fun swimming in the waters until my boyfriend and I got stung by a bunch of tiny jellyfish larvae and we swiftly left that beach.

We did not swim although the weather allowed it. This is still very nice place to visit. We paid $10 and the permit was good for 7 days. If you like to swim, you will certain like this beach.

We first brought our Ohio grand daughters here five years ago. We came back with my wife's sister and husband. It was a day of gale force winds, but totally delightful. It's amazing to have so much natural beauty so accessible and so close to Corpus Christi. Excellent bird watching and a fun drive along the surf.

We drove down the beach for over 40 miles one way, definitely recommend a 4x4 though, and the beach was nice.
