Okay, so I haven't been here since it opened and I could be biased since we just went to Aquarium of the Pacific last June BUT I was totally disappointed. Hardly anything to see inside and the outdoor dolphin show was like 5 min. Wasn't worth the cost of admission.

I'd been to the aquarium several diffent visits throughout the past 7yrs. And this visit was very poor. I only saw 2 otters, 1 gator (never open its eyes), 1 scary shark swimming, 3 other nurse sharks lying at the bottom. For being an aquarium on the coast, there were not many exhibits and one of the main ones was shut down for remodeling (sting ray). I was very disappointed for the price. My son wanted to see sharks, but there were only two. Very underwhelmed.

Liked the dolphin show and the kiddie water park. We went on a weekday which meant almost no crowds. Very nice.

A must see if you are in the area! Dolphin show, stingray touch, shell touch tank, birds of prey show, animal encounter, jellyfish, seahorses, fish and birds from all over the world. And otters! A really fun and educational experience for all ages!
