We would not have gone here if it had not come as a free bonus with the Glacier hike, and we had some spare time to relax after the walk and we did meet again some of our tour participants.
The three water temperatures of 36, 38 and 40 degrees were well managed.
The disappointing element was that the pool...

Enjoyed the three hot water pools, each 2 degrees warmer than the other. Try sitting close to the water jets in the pool for a nice message of your legs. The pools are temporarily covered and that provides adequate protection when it is raining.
On a rainy day with no glacier access, this was a wonderful way to escape travel aches. The private pools have a private changing room with heated floors and afford you great privacy. A bit on the pricey side for 45min ($80), but we enjoyed it none the less!
Unlike some previous reviewers we didn't have free passes but felt that the charge (NZ$23) was not excessive and with hindsight definitely worth it. We spent about an hour here, favouring the cooler of the pools and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would agree with previous reviewers though that this is probably not a place for children, either for their own...

Way overpriced, no discounts for families. Nice pools, not very big pools though, and a bit crowded. Pools are fully chlorinated, not natural, but the environment is nice. Not such a good place for kids, but good for a honeymoon couple. The staff rules were over the top. They even told us to have a shower before entering the pools,...

I think we paid about $70NZ for a family pass (2 adults and 2 Children). The changing rooms were probably the best part of the visit. There were 3 pools starting at 36 degrees celcius increasing to 38c and 40c. They were not mineral hot springs but glacier water filtered and chlorine added which to me defeats the purpose of...

I came here for a massage but it was a good deal! For $120 I had also acces to the pools, locker, bathrobe and towel. The massage therapist was awesome she even gave me some exercise tips. its nice to relax here for about 2 hours, then you get bored haha.
Aaarh The Pool of Serenity, The Pool of Calmness ..... what a wonderful experience! I would of stayed longer but my boys were very excited & wanted to play tag in the pools which I didn't think was a good idea as others were chatting & relaxing. Best experienced with adults or children that are quiet (unlike mine) so the...

We visited the Glacier Hot Pools with a free pass from the Heli Hike. Was a lovely little unwind but it was smaller than anticipated and not quite the amazing environment we had envisaged before arrival. Not sure that I would have been happy with the experience had I paid for entrance. Was quite busy and had a quite the...
