We passed through here on a cycling trip and took the time to cycle around the small park. A very nice spot to sit and rest awhile.

A small but beautiful little park with lots of interpretation boards recounting the history of the area. Lovely grounds and flowers.
My wife and I usually stop at the park for a little picnic when we are on the South Shore. The location on the peninsula offers a great view of the harbour. The lighthouse is worst a quick visit as well.

Really cute lighthouse. Excellent short video about the lighthouse. No admission charge. Lovely grounds with flowers and landscaping.
