We are from the NYC area. Coming here is so unique. It's like going to a concert where everyone is friends! There isn't a bad seat in the place. Table seating looked like a lot of fun but you must buy 6 tickets. If you buy a series set you actually don't get the best seats (tip from a local).... More

Traveled to Atlanta to meet friends for the weekend, the Saturday night concert of Joan Baez and the Indigo Girls as the central event of the trip. Chastain amphitheater was a surprisingly good venue, in that, there IS parking (contrary to what I'd read in other postings here) and that the restrooms were plentiful and clean (I expected port-a-potties but... Atlanta gets the best performers and has many excellent venues, but Chastain Park Amphitheater is not one of them. We went to see one of our favorite classic rock bands, the Allman Brothers Band, but the venue ruined it. They don't have parking! You have to park far away along suburban streets and walk a long distance uphill to get... More

Chastain can be a great venue and has been for me many times..but on June 11 2013 at the Sting concert it was terrible. The security staff was rude...they would not allow coolers in for this concert, the staff said this was Sting's decision ,cheap jerk,....the large video screens were not on...and the food was rotten.

Lot's of fun. Pack a picnic and some wine and get there a little before the show starts. It does get hot as the summer sets in.

Great for taking clients or just good friends over candle light and food while you sit back and enjoy the live music!

Loved everything but the parking situation. Ended up parking at some school and hiking what seemed like a mile to the park. Bathrooms were hidden back in a corner. We loved the wide aisles between the rows.

Recently saw Alan Jackson at Chastain. Great show but hated the no cooler rules for this concert. The venue is a must visit for any show.

Chastain is relaxing and beautiful in a lush setting nestled in an upscale Atlanta suburban neighborhood. There are no bad seats at Chastain and the acoustics are perfect. Home to the Chastain Summer Concert Series, the venue hosts a wide variety of acts. Always a relaxing and enjoyable night under the stars. Catering is available or concert-goers can bring a... More
