I enjoyed seeing a reproduction of a house from many years ago. I was especially intrigued with the size of the beds. It was obvious that people used to be a lot shorter than they are today! Throughout the house I was amazed at the simplicity of the decor, but I really enjoyed it.

This place was educational while being casual. You could roam around at your own pace and see whatever you wanted. There is a variety of exhibits: tours, hands on for the kids, gardens, museums, etc.

The History Center was a wealth of knowledge about the city's past and explained a lot of the rural beginnings and the transformation to the world class city that Atlanta has become.

The Swan House was very nice. Tour guide was a little long winded & we had to cut out early to make our lunch reservations at the Swan Coach House. Ground are very beautiful. LOTS of kids there on school field trips.

This is not your same old history museum. To begin with, it's housed in a lovely piece of architecture, but don't juege the book by it's cover. This is a forward thinking, opinion making kind of a place. I really didn't expect that - but I enjoyed it.

Went to eat one of the best hot dogs in Atlanta at the Metro City Hot Dog stand located at the History Center on April 11.
