Initially not the top stop on my list of things to do in Woodstock but I really enjoyed it. The farm is impressively clean and the staff are passionate about sharing what they love. My favorite bits were the farmhouse, watching Sue (the horse) get new shoes and the little lambs (whose fleece was white as snow)!

A teaching museum with incredible displays. It is a working farm, as well. A delightful place for folks of all ages.

I had been to Woodstock before, but never knew this place was there. This is a spectacular farm on the edge of a spectacular little Vermont town with an amazing story. This is actually considered to be the birthplace of managed forestry in the USA. I got there late in the day, so it was too late to take a... More

We went during their special “Baby Animal” presentation. Loved seeing the baby lambs, calves, ducklings and chicks. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful gentle giant draft horses. We just wanted to give them apples and carrot treats. What a wonderful celebration of Spring 

Wonderful place to see yester year and how the farm was. Spent about 2 hours there (a bit cool), could have spent an entire day if it were warmer. Enjoyed the animals, the farm. Kids will especially like it.

We visited the farm on a day billed as a baby animal day. While my wife and I were slightly disappointed to see a few lambs, one baby cow and some chicks and ducklings, my daughter had a blast. She loved all of the animals. We also went for a ride on a horse-drawn wagon and visited the dairy barn,... More

Great Museum to see how a farm operated at the turn of the century. The architecture of the farmhouse is in the Queen Anne Style, with the rooms refurbished to look like the turn of the century. The staff are all knowledgable and the curator, Bob Benz is a great guy!

Because we stayed at the Woodstock Inn, we got free admission, otherwise we might have missed a fun time. This is a beautifully restored, working dairy farm. You can tour the farm housem and the livestock barns and get up close and personal with the cows, sheep, and horses, including a bunch of baby calfs, some of which were only... More
