If you are taking a roadtrip west or going to Vegas or somewhere in the middle you'd be a fool to pass up an opportunity to see this amazing engineering wonder. It still dumbfounds me that this dam could be built. We do amazing things and this is a testament to what we're capable of.

The $8 admin fee for the visitor center is worth it. The 1st floor has interactive displays, videos, and story boards that answers many of the common dam questions. Went to the Hoover Dam while in Vegas. Booked a tour with Grand canyon Tour Company. They picked us up right at the hotel and took us to the dam.
