Technically I live here. I have to say, it's not the best place to live. If you want nightlife I'd advise you not come here. I'd actually advise you not to walk around here at night. It's chaotic, there's a permanent police presence, and just not worth it. Come here during the day, other then that. Not worth the visit.

Seattle does have an area referred to as Chinatown, but apart from some decent restaurants, a few shops and food stores, that's about it. If you have a seen a real Chinatown (such as San Francisco or New York), you will be sorely disappointed. It is a decent destination if you are looking for Chinese food, but not a true...

There's not much offered in Seattle's China Town, especially once you've been to San Fran. And night time is extra scary there after hours.

We bought so many foods. There were so many things to look at and try. The food court was awesome. We ate there for lunch before...

Fun to wander around. A must see is the Uwajimaya Asian supermarket. All sorts of fun foods and Asian things to buy. There are a ton of Asian restaurants to choose from in the area. Some are more reputable than others, so check restaurant reviews for the best places.

My family and I love walking around Chinatown. I was lucky enough to work in the area for 3 years - I loved walking around at lunch. The people are wonderful, you can't beat the restaurants and shopping!

Through the gate and into the International District, you enter another era or another world. Barbecue ducks hanging in windows, signs written only in Chinese or Japanese. Go into Uwajimaya for sure and see the fish section at the back. Have lunch or dinner at one of the many great restaurants like Shanghai Garden or buy take-out at King's and...
