Overly crowded on Seatles warmest days, but totally awesome during the week and on slightly overcast days. make sure to check a tide chart for low tide to see the most in tide pools. Enjoy walking along the miles and miles of paved trail. Be the earlybird that stakes out one of the firepits for a summer evening.

If you're in Seattle the first Saturday after 4th of July, the Seattle Seafair Pirates storm Alki Beach from a WWII LST landing craft. It's a riot! The beach is a real beach, sand and beach volleyball. Beach Dr is a popular road for cruising, skateboarding, rollerblading and biking, so it's very crowded in the summer, and hard to find... More

The park and beach is quite large and nice, the ambiance is laid back & fun. There's a pretty lighthouse you can tour & lots of restaurants to choose from with outdoor seating. Take your kids, your sweetie or your dog, relax and enjoy.

Love Alki. It is pretty, there is good diving, and a great little Gelato place right before you hit the bridge to head back over to Seattle. Best views of Seattle at sunset, so take those visiting relatives.

This place is great for people watching. Close enough to stroll to all of the storefronts and shop or stop by the restaurants and grab a drink.

Best view of Seattle skyline. Lots of great places to eat. Go and stand on the beach and bring your camera. Beautiful views of Seattle.

The view you see on postcards are from this angle. Also after WA legalized you-know-what, Alki Beach has been a much happier place ;-)

A definite must for anyone visiting the Seattle area. So many places to eat and great landmarks. Be sure to bundle up a bit. The wind off the water can be cold!

You can exercise, play, walk the beach, shop, drink, eat....the list goes on! There is so much to do! When the sun is out, tons of people and dogs are out. Love it when the Pirates land here - it's fun to see.
