Karl was a great guide with lots of knowledge and a genuinely nice guy which made the ride really fun. I did the Johnson pass, a stunning ride with some great single track. The bikes were very new (Trek) and i was provided with a helmet. Karl was there to support with any questions and had loads of information about... More

My spouse and I traveled to Alaska in mid-May with reasonable, if not overly optimistic, expectations of some decent enough weather to go hiking and pursue other outdoor activities. But, as Mother Nature would have it, that was not the case. An unusually snowy spring had left hiking out of the question for us, and after five days of rain,... More

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical booking this trip. In the end I am really glad I did. Karl's, tours allow you access to some awesome scenery that would take you full days to hike! On the tour we saw moose and a black bear (all at a very safe distance). The scenery and views were gorgeous.... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our bike trek with Karl. We like to get outdoors and do unique things on our vacations. We're both beginner mountain bikers - so he tailored the trip to our experience. He recommended that we go with fat bikes - which were definitely really fun. If you are visiting the Seward area on a... More

The fat bike biking was definitely one of the fun parts of our trip. These bikes look heavy but they are easy to ride and very sturdy over rocky terrain. We biked along the rocky terrain of Resurrection bay mountains and could see the marathon mountain in the back ground. It was a really good work out and it required... More

The bicycle tour with Karl was the best part of our Alaskan vacation. We highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Alaska. Our trip began with Karl picking us up at the Seward bicycle shop, which was pretty cool because the bike shop was inside an old train car. From their we had about a 40 minute drive to the... More

I had the pleasure of riding with Karl while visiting Seward and a had a great time. Karl and his company are highly recommended. He knows the area intimately and does a great job of figuring out which ride will be most appropriate and fun based on your experience and the current trail conditions. We rode the Crescent Creek Trail... More

I rented the smaller Surley Pugsley, which fit fine. I usually ride a 52. The bike was in great working order. I took it with a friend on the Iditarod trail. It was my first time on a bike with tires larger than 28s, and my first time mountain biking through the snow no less... I ride cross and road... More

Rented two snow bikes (think bike with fatty fat tires) and went for a ride on two local trails. I was only looking for bike rental and advice where to go. Karl gave us prompt service and great advice about the local trails. The bikes were in great shape and were very very clean. We had a blast riding down... More

Snow is on the ground, bike season is over. WRONG. Fat biking is amazing and Karl is an amazing guide. He took me out on Exit Glacier Road and it was fantastic. "How fun can a road be"?, I thought to myself. Boody awsome when it is covered with snow and you have the right tool for the job, which... More
