Seward is an amazing stop on your Alaskan tour, and if you stop, you have to check out the opportunities Kayak Adventure Worldwide offers. Dave and Wendy have a variety of kayak trips for both beginners and advanced, 1/2 days and week long activities. We took a 1/2 day tour around the bay and had an outstanding afternoon, they are... My daughters and I did the Aialak Bay day kayaking trip and had a great time. There were three couples plus us and the wonderful guide Steph, who was very enthusiastic and a mine of information. On the water taxi out there we saw sea lions sea otters and puffins, and the boat captain stopped by each so we could... More

What an unbelievable experience! I did the Resurrection Bay full day trip, and the day was packed with kayaking and hiking in the most beautiful setting. My guides were Fran and Calie and they were easygoing and so knowledgable about the wildlife and history of the surrounding area. Kayak Adventures had all the gear I needed. I am a novice... More

We went on the Dora with guide John, Capt. Mike and another couple who we did not know before the trip for a 4 day trip to Aialik Bay. It was an amazing trip. John and Mike were very attentive and extremely helpful. I have some physical challenges...getting out of a kayak due to arthritis in my wrists and shoulders.... More

We went on a 4-day Northwestern Lagoon guided rental (brought all our own camping gear and were responsible for meals and the like, while they dealt with the kayaking gear) with KAW and it was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The water taxi drivers were fantastic about stopping to see whales (orcas!) and other wildlife on the way in... More

We had a multi-days kayak camping trip at the end of August. We had never done a kayak/camping trip before, but we found the right company to guide us for this journey of a lifetime. On the 3rd day of the trip, the weather was changing and we were told that there was a possible storm coming into Resurrection and... More

We had a great paddle trip around Resurrection Bay with Zach - his last of the 2011 tour season. Highly recommended! Knowledgeable guide, beautiful landscape - cannot go wrong. Plus a portion of the proceeds for the tour are donated to green technologies. If we stayed longer, we would have taken a multi-day trip. More

What an trip!! I had two awesome experiences with KAW. The first trip I did was a kayak/hike/sail full day excursion in Resurrection Bay. I enjoy all three of those activities, have experience doing all three, and the challenges of the day were spot-on. My guide, Johnny, was awesome! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Alaska, the wildlife (sea... More

Both our guide and our mothership boat captain were the best. We did a 6 day trip in Aialik Bay and Northwestern Fjord and it couldn't have been any better. Not only were they wonderful at what they do, they were wonderful people. I'm a very particular person and a very particular traveler and I can't recommend them highly enough. More

We went Kayaking in Aialik Bay and it is worth every penny! We saw incredible wildlife and the glacier is stunning. KAW provides fun and knowledgeable staff. They even went out of their way to make special arrangements for us to get back to Seward in time to catch the train to Anchorage. More
