90% of the pistes are above 2000 meters. This makes snow frosen and incredible. The resort is very well connected, so if you are not picky, you can ski for hours without using a map, skiing from one great piste to the other. My last day was really cold: -18C. My feet froze. Check the weather, and if you are... More

We had a lovely ski vacation in Ischgl late March. There are many red and black trails that stay open until relatively late in the season. I recommend this site for intermediate/advanced skiers. It is pretty easy to ski between different areas if you can do the reds and blacks. However, because it is among the more expensive ski sites,... More

Silvretta arena belongs to one of the best skiing resorts I have ever been. Lot of well prepared slopes of different difficulty, snow guarantee, nice alpine villages and duty free zone in Samnaun.

Great ski area, good choice of challenging reds with the odd decent black. Red 7 a favourite, generally quiet. Also reds to the right hand side quieter and away from the main hoard of people who ski back into the Idalp area. Skiing down to the resort is good - just avoid the peak times when you get the idiots... More

Great pistes and facilities. Amazing apres ski down in the valley, but only one option up on the moauntain - only if you ski the west side. There are no cute little huts for lunch anywhere on the piste. There are some good options though - the marmotte at alp trida is lovely.

Went the third time to Ischgl for a short ski break. Great skiing conditions this period. Very very cold weather but great skiing conditions. All slopes and ski lifts were open. The ascent to the village was great and very easy to do and you finished at the Schatzibar. Great après skibar:):)

If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet skiing area, forget about Ishgl. The Ishgl mountains are very generous with dozens are pistes for all levels of skiers, some very wide. But they are over-built with literally thousands of ski lifts going all directions. The sky looks like a futuristic Silvester Stallone movie, full of round and long objects moving about... More

tons of lifts and great slopes for beginners and advanced alike (Personally I am an advanced snowboarder). you can tell that Ischgl invests a lot of the money they earn. all chairs are "high speed", most with an additional bubble cover to protect against wind. Some of the gondolas even have heated seats! crazy. food on the slopes is good... More
