I enjoyed all the exhibits. The audio guide was really good. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. They shared thier personal stories and helped reenforce the reality that what we were seeing was how people lived. A good way to get in touch with life of our ancestors. More

From the road it looks like nothing, but once inside the fenced area, it was a real treat. Like walking in a museum, except you could walk right into the old buildings and touch things, being more a part of the whole experience. More

This is not Disney, it is a wonderful unique walk through time. The cabins are the real thing, moved from local properties. The owner plays poker Alice sharing fun stories! Come if you want to experience true history! More

I was disappointed reading some of the negative reviews on this neat little place. Firstly, it's not a major attraction with costly replicas and grand old buildings. If you want to see that, spend $75 and go to Universal Studios. This is a $5 attraction with assorted little buildings overflowing with old collectables- the owners are up front about this,... More

No, this hardly an historians dream-accuracy is often in doubt and some of the stuff is cheesy - BUT it is a great value when you consider that it is only $5 a head. Don't go in search of history however if you have kids 10 and under they will love it and there are a lot of great phot... More

We stopped on a whim and found that the place was cute, the history was interesting and the price was cheap enough to be a bargain. If you are going through the area it is worth a stop. More

We went to this so called attraction because the guy at the Custer tourism office told us it was a good place to visit. What a mistake!! For $5 you get to look at the ruins of what was possibly a good attraction in its prime. It is no better than some of the abandoned homesteads along the highway. I... More
