last dec'12 i visit kanyakumari, it's a wonderful experience. I stayed at Vivekananda puram. I came from LORD BALAJI darshan at Tirupati. I take a train from Tirupati to Nagercoil. Wonderful experience! The point where the three seas meet is amazing! You can clearly distinguish the waters in day light. Good view of sunset and sunrise.

The beach is always exciting and inviting. The sea shell market here is a thrill to tourists and children.

The beaches used for fishing boats are picturesque when seen from a distance and make for wonderful photos - but close up they stink and the amount of garbage is woeful being never picked up. The beaches where pilgrims wash in the sea are interesting and clean. These are to the right of the town.

Kanyakumari beach is most popular to view sunrise. There is a road running along the sea shore. Authorities have developed proper sitting area with benches and gardens along the sea shore. kanyakumari beach is nice place where everyone can pass their memorable moments of life and in the sea there is vivekanand rock memorial one of the best place n near that there is the cheapest and nice market n beside the beach gandhi memorial is good place to see....

kanyakumari beach is awesome to view...one side the view of vivenkanda rock with sunrise point ..and sunset on other side really makes a travel's destination..the holy sangam bath,and mandir alongside beach makes it perfect destination...the vivekanda ashram and gandhi memorial added attraction of this place...the only problem is with cleanliness..

Its a big open air cheap market full of discarded plastic bottles & general rubbish as the Indians don't believe in bins so just though all there rubbish were ever they feel including human waist the smell will turn your stomach big time.
