We booked a Spring Wildflower walk for May 7th. We called and found that due to the early warm weather, most of the wildflowers had already bloomed. However, we wanted to go anyway since the walk was short and ended with seeing a waterfall. Cindy was our guide for the walk, and three ladies along with my wife and mother... More

I took the “Backpacking 101” trip. The guide was very knowledgeable about the local plants. The best part was all through the hike in he managed to sprinkle in bits of information useful to beginning backpackers without making it feel like I was in a classroom listening to a lecture. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with... More

Great trip to catch up with close friends. The hike up LeConte was harder than we expected but we are all desk-jockeys during the week. Mike (our guide) was an expert in many aspects of nature and hiking in general but even more importantly he was a wonderful hiking companion and cabin mate. All our group thought LeConte is something... More

This was the best part of our trip to PF/Gat. We did "A Walk Back in Time", which is about a 2.5 hour walk. For the most part its on a wide path and not very difficult (our 10 yr old son had no issues). There were only the 3 of us on our tour so we got all of... More

This was the second time I have taken a Walk in the Woods Tour. The first time was a couple of years ago with my family of four. It was a walk geared for kids and it was great. I decided to go again and brought along my in laws, and other extended family and new baby duaghter. We were... More

We did the Days Gone By Tour with Sam and it was the highlight of our whole vacation! She was so informative about not only the history of the area, but plant and animal life as well. The hike itself was pretty easy, just like the website said. We will absolutely do this again when we are in the area.... More

Vesna, a co-owner, was extremely friendly and informative on the phone, and helped us plan our trip. We enjoyed a half-day hike with Charles, who was particularly knowlegable about edible plants. He was delighted to talk about the sights and history along the way. Then we had a wonderful all-day hike with Mike in Smoky Mountain National Park on Wednesday,... More

Expert guide knowledgeable of the history, plants and animal life leads visitors up into the Park alongside a a creek with rapids and increasing waterfalls! Such a wonderful break from the crowds and bumper to bumper traffic. Great opportunity to enjoy the history and take pictures! More

I participated on the "Natural Pools and Waterfalls Walk" with Vesna and was so pleased. It was in the Smokey Mountain National Park at Greenbrier and lasted between 2.5 and 3 hours. Before arriving, you will receive an email that advises you what to bring. I packed water and a camera and the leader provided a walking stick since I... More

Our seniors group travels to a new destination every winter and we chose the Smokies for this year. We were thrilled to have found such a top notch group of tour guides. From the customer service while booking to the care the guides took on the tour, we all felt like we were in great hands during our various walks... More
