Thought we'd get great views of Lake Powell... not true.

After driving past the guard gate, instead of turning right into the village and marina, we turned left toward the boat launch, then drove a short distance to the parking lot for the beach. It was a short hike down hill on sand, rocks and gravel to the beach. The water felt cold but very inviting. We hike along the...

The area is much quieter than the resort, the floating restaurant is very good value and excellent service.

We are not "boaties" so I guess that biases this opinion somewhat. It is all very nice and I guess if one was into the boating scene then it would be a great place.

I highly recommend taking a boat tour of Lake Powell with Rusty! As a local, he is very knowledgeable about the lake itself and offered wonderful little tidbits throughout our tour--a dinosaur track here, a bald eagle there. Finally the tourist information in Page offered a tour with "Antelope Point Outfitters", Captain David French, this 2hrs tour is $ 49,- per person - and it's really worth it....

My husband and I were at Lakr the Lake Powell over the Labor Day holiday and went on a tour of antelope canyon with Capt Steve. Henline. It was delightful and entertaining. This is a small operation that prides itself with fantastic service.
Money well spent. A great experience.

I have never had more fun in my life than when I went to Lake Powell and went on a tour boat of Antelope Point Outfitters. I'm not much of a fisherman at all, in fact it has never been my cup of tea--but my husband is quite the fisherman. I thought this would be one more nightmarishly boring outing...
