The hike to Hidden Lake was amazing and by far my children's favorite. We hiked through snow in July in shorts and t-shirts, what an odd experience. It made it a bit treacherous, so I'd recommend wearing good shoes. The soles of my tennis shoes were fairly worn, so I did a lot of sliding. On our hike, we saw... More

Easy hike for family with young children. Great view all the way to the overlook. Lots of mountain goats. Bring your lunch if you start in mid-morning and enjoy your lunch at the overlook with a view of the lake. Or arrive early so you can find a parking at Logan Pass - very competitive in the summer time. Good... More

This hike to the overview begins along the Continental Divide in Glacier Park at the Visitor Center. There is a boardwalk in the beginning. Allow some time for this hike. Worth it though if you get to the park early or are staying a few days.

An easy hike in Glacier Park worth taking just wear bear bells on the trail! This is a great spot for picture taking and picnicking at the lake. You might see mountain goats along the way or spot other wildlife.

Loved this moderate hike. Its a gentle hill along a river and the reward is at the end at this beautiful lake.

Take the shuttle from your campground to the pass and make sure you do this hike - takes about an hour or so. Stop midway and have lunch - easy hike, spectacular views and the cance you'll see goats, sheep and bears - we did!

Would have loved to hike to this lake, but The Logan Pass Visitor Center parking area was jam packed and cars going everywhich way trying to find a place to park. I think when it's busy like this, they should have someone assisting and guiding traffic. We were unable to make it to the lake this day because of parking... More

The overlook was amazing and the trail down to the lake was worth the extra effort climbing back up.

Fairly steep approach up a long boardwalk and steps from the back of the Logan Pass Visitor Center. Nice observation deck to see Hidden Lake from. Couldn't go beyond this, as trail was closed due to bear activity. Saw prairie dogs, marmots, and mountain goats. Get there early, as parking lot fills up by 10 or so.

Completed this hike in late August, 2012. I am not sure this is a "hike" in the most traditional sense. Much of it is a boardwalk trail. The boardwalk section has a lot of steps. If you are short, the steps may be tough as some are spread far apart and require a bit of extra effort on the knees.... More
