If you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, this is probably one of the best options. You will not need to drive since most points of interest are within walking distance. Parking could be a hassle, but that is the case pretty much anywhere in that part of Savannah. The staff of... It says attraction but this is an active hotel. We loved the location and history surrounding this very old Inn. Our room 207 was on the corner of the building with 5 large windows, a fireplace, poster bed, 2 wingback chairs, 2 other antique chairs, 2 nite stands with lamps, an ironing board, a coffee service table, nice large tv,... derful woman playing the piano just for us. Not although we were the only ones there through our entire meal. A warm welcome from Scott our server and warm honey glazed buscuit soon followed. Delightful Caesar salad followed by the crab cake appetizer for my entree was perfect. Crab cakes freshly sauted. My honey started with the soup du jour... More

We found the 17Hundred90 Inn while on a tour of Savannah and decided to go back for lunch. It is a charming Inn with the old brick interior in the pub and comes complete with a few ghost stories! The Fried Green Tomato BLT was very good and they make a pretty tasty Hurricane! Service was good and I would... More

We were traveling by Amtrak with a 7:00AM arrival to Savannah. We paid for the night prior to our arrival so we could get in our room upon arrival. When I spoke with a staff member he told me he would not be there but he would make arrangements for someone to let us check in. When we arrived by... More

Lots of ambiance in this authentic historic inn and restaurant. Great bar where Savannah meets for lunch and after work. The food is of fine quality, served by a very competent wait staff. More

We arrived early but the room was already for us and we were lucky to have a private parking spot right outside of our patio. The Inn is located in a great part of town that allowed us to ditch the car and walk everywhere. The Inn is actually utilizes a few different houses for rooms, which seems like a... More

We arrived on time, left to wait while the greeter just looked at us. We were one of only 4 tables. 2 tables sent food back. 3tables agreed the food was bland and not good. My scallops were mushy & of diff colors(old?), steak was average, salmon was just POOR. Wine was complimented. Otherwise I would rather eat at Home... More

Food was great! We got here ~2 pm, after the lunch crowd, so service was a little poorer than I expected. Definitely get the shrimp and grits - it is delicious. More
