Historic Savannah was perfect. There were so many things to do and everyone was so friendly! We rode the ferry, walked along the river and enjoyed live music. We walked and enjoyed looking at all the historic homes. It was a fabulous trip.
Shopping offered a variety, the food all of the restaurants we frequented was exceptional. The historic flavor and the numerous squares were magical. We spent countless hours reading many historic plaques.
Great architecture, good shopping, great dining, southern hospitality and plenty of history. Trolley Tours are great option to see and hear about the city.
We loved walking through the tree lined streets and just looking at the beautiful homes in the historic district. Every square is a treasure......pleanty of benches for people watching, cool and quiet amongst the trees.........it's just a lovely place to see!

Particular gems we toured were the Owens-Thomas House and the Andrew Low...
