Long walking trails to enjoy. They are pretty flat but there are lots of roots to trip over. Take water. This time of year go early it gets really hot later in the day.

This bike trail takes you through some of the most beautiful coastal forest I've ever seen; the trail is bumpy with roots, so wear a helmet (or just walk it), but we had a great time. Take pictures in front of the massive cedar!
Wonderful anniversary trip camping in our Pop Up to Savannah. Beautiful large campsites, nice bathroom facilities. Only about 15 minutes to historic Savannah. Lots of construction going in the campground but did not impact us. Laundry at the shower house was convenient - nice staff and helpful.
Do I rate it as it is, or with the changes happening? Woodsy, casual, interesting campsites for us small, medium, even big rigs. Big construction going on right now, but they do not spell "improvements" with the huge gravel pull-thru sites being added. This was a "go-to place", but this "upgrade" is ill advised. You can afford a rig that...

Skidaway Island is such a nice park. We camped here and had a really nice time. There is so much wildlife around and the hiking trails are really nice. We even watched the Painted Buntings with the nature center staff! How cool!!
This park is clean, friendly and fun to visit. There are multiple nicely kept picnic pavilions, grills and playgrounds. The trails are fun to do and safe. We grilled out hot dogs and went on a short trail hike and had a great time! There is a parking fee of $5 unless you have a state park pass. Trail was...

If you love the gorgeous Live Oaks in Savannah then you must go to Skidaway Island. There are several different trails to explore that are draped with oaks and run along the water. Trails are long enough to make the 40 minute trip from Tybee Island worthwhile. The island was an active battle site during Revolutionary and Civil wars and...

Very nice park conveniently close to Savannah and Tybee. Wonderful trails through the salt marshes and a campground deep within an old forest with large trees and Spanish moss. We were here in November, a wonderful time of year to visit south Georgia - warm days and cool nights. Campground is spacious and restrooms are clean.
My daughter and I camed here for two nights. This is a park for RV and Campers. Tents are scarce. The bike trail was fun. The bathrooms were ok.
This park had really nice trails and an old distillery. Great place for a picnic. Spent the afternoon lounging on the boardwalk watching the fiddler crabs move about. The trails were paved with fallen trees and marsh lands. Our family pet absolutely adore chasing birds and squirrels. Would recommend this park to everyone.
