We visited there in April, 2013 and had a wonderful experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all my questions. We rode 4 different cars, one of them fresh out of the restoration shop. In the museum gallery, i was surprised at the large number of period photographs, each with a very detailed description. We spent 2... More

My Husband is a die hard Street Car guy, we have visited this museum on several occasions and highly recommend. Each time the volunteers and car collection never disappoint. We always have loads of fun riding and photographing their street car collection. The ride is fairly short but the diverse street car collection makes up for that. The volunteers are... More

The Baltimore Streetcar Museum is a great way to kill some time with your kid(s). The inside if the museum is so-so, but the highlight is the rides on authentic Baltimore streetcars dating back to the early1900s. For 7 dollars per child (12 adult) you can ride as many streetcars as you desire. The ride isn't long, but the volunteers... More

A place where you can step back in time and enjoy a ride complete with all of the noise and clanging of the old trollies and streetcars.

If you have some free time, this is worth an hour. Interesting little history. On special events, they have old trolleys running to catch a ride.

Not only is the Falls Road corrider near Union Station a great point of departure for a walk, it's also right in the streetcar museum's backyard. These eccentric enthusiasts will take you for a ride on several cars and it's like traveling back in time!

I discovered the Baltimore streetcar museum by accident on google maps. Decided to see what it was all about and was pleasantly surprised. They have a great collection of streetcars from Baltimore and a handful from Philly. The best part of this museum is that you can ride on the streetcars! The museum has a half mile track that gives... More

Went by most days for about a year and a half until we finally visited. A great use of one hour and four bucks. Worth it.

The Streetcar Museum is often overlooked (literally--it's tucked under I-83) but it truly a gem! The museum is a fabulous place for families, especially young children interested in trains, as it is very interactive! The exhibit space is small and contains many photos and dioramas, which are all interesting. The highlight, however, is being able to actually ride a variety... More

The chance to ride on a real streetcar, they feature rides with Santa at Christmas time. All volunteer run - nice historical info on the Baltimore area.
