The entire trail is about 30 miles long but to can do any or all of it. There are parking lots at. 3 entry points along the trail. It's a converted rail line so its pretty wide. Good amount of shade and very little residential to ride thru. It's very enjoyable no matter what time of year.

This is a fantastic trail for bike riders, roller blading or just going for a long walk. Just over 14 miles long and plenty of parking. The trail is very flat except a couple of slight hills that your wont even hardly notice. The trail is paved and very smooth. There is three bathrooms, one at each end of the... More

Good for a long ride; don't like the electric lines crackling overhead in one area and it is kind of remote for lone rider.

Great family outing. You can opt to run or ride your bike. I love it that it is level as my endurance level is a little low, but you are able to build it up. No water on the end, so bag up a few bottles. Potties in the parking lot. Awesome skyline.

a multi-use wide asphalt trail for hiking, jogging, in-line skating or cycling; an off-road bike trail; and a horseback riding trail. 15 miles of freedom to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.

Rode the entire round trip today, 29 miles. It was perfect weather and the lot was full- we weren't the only ones to take advantage of the spring like day! We parked at the trail head in Jacksonville on Imeson Rd. There is a restroom here. Even though the lot was full the trail was not crowded. Most people were... More

We rode this trail three times while in Jacksonville. There are 2 or 3 different access points so we were able to ride the entire trail. There are no hills and plenty of shade so even in the summer heat its nice to use.

The ride features a haven away from other vehicles. However the trail is quite bumpy in areas, has a bunch of intersections with highways, and is far away from emergency service in case of accidents.

We rode the trail last weekend Nov 2012. The trail now has a permanent bathroom and a water fountain. At one point in the trail there was some very bad washout of the trail. It was well marked with signs, but the area to pass thru was only a couple of feet wide, so be aware of other users as... More

Folks really enjoy this trail built on an old rail access. It is about 10-14' wide. People bike, skateboard, rollerblade and walk. 13 miles from beginning to end. The first mile is open to the sun, after that is shade through residential and natural areas. On Saturdays get there by 10:00am for parking. Outhouse toilets in the parking lot, but... More
