I visited there several times at sunset and then at night doing EVP work. This is a beautiful bridge with alot of history. It does give you an eerie feeling and several times I felt something around. I picked up voices on EVP and cannot wait to go back and do more since I am becoming more familiar with the... More

We went twice once during the day and once at night. Bring your camera. There is free parking. You can walk on the bridge but not drive over it. You can walk through a wooded path and it takes you down to the water.

We got lost and stumbled upon this place. I was happy, since it was one of the places I wanted to see. It was so serene and peaceful. I wish there was no graffiti, that is a shame. But otherwise it is a very neat bridge with a significant history to the battle

Gettyburg fighting encompassed a great deal more area than I ever expected and really impacted on the surroundings. The covered bridge is over a quiet, meandering river, with beautiful trees and fishing. Too bad there was graffiti on the bridge

Having seen photos of the bridge I was keeping a watch for it. When our group of six was on our way to dinner from the Lodges at Gettysburg, I glanced over and saw this beautiful structure shining in the late afternoon sun. We turned in and spent about 20 minutes in the area. People were fishing, taking photos, and... More

I was taken to this place when my Boy Scout troop visited Gettysburg in May 2009. It was an absolutely surreal place. I wanted to show it to my Grandfather when we visit in June this year. Like many people have said, you really have to know where this thing is. It is a local secret of sorts. But if... More

Finding it is th hardest part. I guess they dont want it overrun with tourists. But it is a nice peaceful place.

We have visited many covered bridges in Vermont and were certainly not diappointed with this. A very peaceful location.
