Take a guided car tour (your car, guide drives) to appreciate the history of those three critical days in 1863.

The tour guides do a wonderful job of making the whole scene of the battles and the plight of the soldiers (many only 17-20 years old) come alive.

Make sure to do the Visitor Center and Museum 1st. The 'Auto' tour is well marked and easy to follow right out of the Visitor Center. The park is just beautiful and well kept and the visitor's center is a must see stop that every age can enjoy. We,ve hooked out grandchildren on civil war history by taking them here.

Great biking tour of the battlefield, including a southern reenactment group! Enjoyed the informational plaques and the beautiful scenery.
