We arrived just as the fishing season ended. Apparently, this place is crawling with fishermen during the season. Very beautiful and peaceful in October. Lots of water rentals available. Watch out for the winds that come up in the afternoon though.

This is a beautiful area to visit. We've come here for Memorial Day Weekend (and occasional Thanksgiving weekend(s)) for years and driving into and through the area is always gorgeous.

It is a beautiful lake where you can relax, rent a kayak, a paddleboard, or just walk or fish. A great family atmosphere

Lake Mary and the others make for great photos and very pleasant hiking for the scenery. If you have never been to Mammoth Lakes and you're passing by, be sure to the time to visit this area, you won't regret the time.

Kids caught 6 trout in 2 hours. Hiked 1/2 way around and back. Very quiet with flat terrain and many photo opt.

We enjoyed renting a canoe for an hour and paddling around. Even saw bald eagles. Hike to TJ Lake from Lake George is fantastic but steep. Downside is having to drive through the campground to the trailhead; very congested in summer.

Don't get me wrong. Lake Mary is pretty. It's just that there are so many other more beautiful nature spots in the immediate area.
