You can't put a post office box number into a car's GPS. These people are oddly reticent for you to find them. "Directions" given from any point still don't include the street number. Hello! Where are you? More

The galleries were all within a nice stroll and music / wine / finger food accompanied most blocks. The artists were extremely engaging and work was priced from reasonable to pricy. The music at the Blues Revue captivated the crowd (concert quality), the music on additional blocks ranged from fair to good (bar quality). All in all a good time. More

For most of the year the Village hibernates with shops and galleries closed and very little for visitors to do or see. Once a month on the first Friday and Saturday the Village has its Art Walk but even then not all galleries are open. As a destination for tourist it leaves much to be desired and I would not... More

LOVE Village of the Arts, especially the Friday night art walks. There is a great range of mediums represented. Just check the hours before you go. Many shops don't keep regular hours. More

We stopped in the neighborhood mid-morning on a Monday and found no one open. The neighborhood looked poor and unkempt. It might have been better on a weekend. . . More

An enchanting stroll though this turn-of-the-century village (within a town) was a really wonderful & unique travel experience. I choose vacation locations upon a few things: 1.Warmth and Sunshine 2.The Arts 3.The Culture. The Village of the Arts has them all to the nth. We missed the Artwalk event, but on our next visit we will plan around IT. (First... More
