The displays are so informative about the work being done worldwide by Heifer for the very poor people in forgotten regions.
Heifer International Headquarters is yet another enjoyable place to visit in Little Rock. A variety of exhibits and interactive displays bring the crisis of world hunger vividly to life. This is a very worthwhile charity to support and visiting the village really helps show how important contributions are to helping third world populations become self sufficient. There is a very... We visited Heifer Village after visiting the Clinton Presidential Library. We have contributed to this organization through our church but took the opportunity to visit Heifer Village. It was a bit disappointing that they did not have sufficient volunteers to offer us a tour but there were sufficient video and displays to further appreciate their work. If you are in... More
i have given Heifer animals for years to folks on my Christmas list that don't need another little think a ma jig that they won't use. Heifer International Village is very cool. I have visited Heifer Village several times with the 5th and 6th graders in our Sunday School class. The exhibits really give you a feel for what life is like in other parts of the world. We were there on Labor Day, so it was quite empty. As a result, we were given a personal tour of the green office building. Although, many of the exhibits are geared toward children, we found it very interesting.
My husband and I visited after hearing everyone rave about this place since it opened. Well worth the trip. Exhibits are attractive, interactive and interesting as well as educational. The gift shop has so many neat items. Make sure you check this place out.
