Loved Top of the Rock....I found that I loved it more than the Empire State Building because of the unobstructed views and that you have Central Park like right there in front of you. Get there in time to catch a sunset and it's absolutely unforgettable!

Superb views, especially of Central Park (which you can't see from the Empire State Building). We did Empire State 86th Floor and 102 observation decks the night before. In our opinion this was better (although the 102 floor is very special). Obviously not as high but far quieter, no 2 hour queues and still spectacular.

We visited on a Saturday evening in June. We got a ticket within about an hour of arriving and had a great visit!

This was our first visit to NYC and we found the view to be breathtaking! We waited for only a couple of minutes (Wednesday afternoon). I think the view at night would be spectacular, and would do both day & night next time.

A superior view of the city. However, whoever is charging $27 dollars for a one minute ride in an elevator should be ashamed of themselves. Most people could not afford to do this. I understand the Empire State Building is more $$$. I am disgusted with the money grubbing!!!!

Ordered tickets on-line without a speciifc time. We arrived at check-in and could go to to top immediately. 360 view of NYC was spectacular. Angelica in the gift shop was very helpful

This was one of the best tourist things we did. We undertook the tour and then visited the top. The guide was excellent and well worth the money. This was a better experience, for us, than the ESB.
