Great aerial work with fancy rigging. Very acrobatic cast. Starts slow but picks up.mwe had orchestra seats. Don't buy food at theatre - crazy prices. The bad guy was fantastic and almost outshone Spider-Man. Enjoyed the show overall.mfun.

I was a bit disappointed in the overall show. Parts were very entertaining especially the high flying acrobatics and the green villain. Some of the music was slow and boring. Unless going with kids, I would recommend something else.

Just got back from seeing the revamped 'standard' version for the first time. I must say, even though I was in that theatre for well over three hours, I prefer Julie Taymor's (what I call) brilliant craziness. This ridiculously abridged version maintains common, recognizable themes (including one or two elements formerly unique to the Raimi film series), while also keeping... More

Had they majored more on Spiderman and he's crime-fighting abilities, and less on the sometimes risqué romance between he and Mary Jane I would have given this five stars. The costumes were incredible. The special effects were stunning. I think some of the more adult humor went over my children's heads, but I think it could have been done without... More

Kids were on the edge of their seats throughout. My girls screamed when Spider-man landed right next to them. They talked about it for hours after. Worth every penny. I suggest getting tickets in the flying circle in the front next to the inner aisles.

This show had unique special effects, which were it's highlights. The music and performances were not memorable, so I would recommend seeing it for the effects, but don't expect to remember the characters or the melodies.

I took my 6 year old and he had a great time. We had the best seats in the house in his mind. We sat in the front of the 2nd level (Flying Circle, I think), on the left side. Spiderman flies from there a couple times and both times he gave my 6 year old son a high five.... More

We enjoyed Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark. If follows the first Spider Man movie fairly close. The first half is a bit slow but it picks up after intermission. I recommend balcony seats as many of the acrobatics go into the balcony. If you are looking for a good Broadway musical to see this is one.
