each weeknights, you will find more than 50-75 shows in NYC--more from Thursdays on. I advise trying all three venues to make your NYC theater experience full! Check out the tiniest theaters by great young performers. It will be a adventure.

I'm not a theatre junkie, but I can't think of anything I enjoy more than a really pithy play, or a bouncing musical. Broadway is the core of the (U.S.) universe for this activity, and I just wish other cities and towns could enjoy the access we are fortunate to have available here.

Cinderella at the Broadway this afternoon was a thoroughly enjoyable event for the entire family! We came in from Detroit to celebrate our daughters birthday! Her one request was a musical on Broadway, Cinderella had her dancing in her chair and singing along, she loved every minute of the show! The production, staging, sets, dancing, singing, orchestra and the entire theater... More

We started out at the TKTS to get our tickets and the line moved quick. Get in line at 2:30 for best results. Got excellent seats to Sonya, Vanya, Masha and Spike. The cast was excellent, Sigourney Weaver and David Hyde Pierce. Laugh out loud funny. The audience was having a great time with it. See it if you can.

Pretty terrific musicals. Only wish there were more family friendly comedies. Nothing compares to Phantom, no matter what planet you're from!

Absolutley amazing!! I went here with my college we went to watch Mamma Mia I thought to myself oh great when we found out as I don't really like things like this. I was so surprised it was fantastic I didn't want it to finish. What a great night out!! I would definitely watch it again :)

Before TV, someone had to actually get up in front of an audience and get an audience to feel that a story could be told with real people. Broadway seems to be the source of celluloid story telling. Early (and current) movies are based on stage plays, rewritten for the screen. Seeing people that are engaged in formalized group storytelling... More

Of course whilst in New York, you must see at least one show or play. It's legendary. Walk along Broadway and buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointments.

We thoroughly enjoyed Nice Work, the musical by Gershwin. Wonderful. Matthew Broderick's understudy did an amazing job... can't imagine Broderick doing a bit better!
