I really enjoyed Zim's photo safari in Central Park. I was visiting NYC on my own and I was looking for things to do, I'm a budding amateur photographer and I thought what better place to learn a bit about my camera and photography in general then in central park.

I had the pleasure of taking two photo safari's with the NYC Photo Safari, no doubt two of the best workshops I've ever taken on photography. The safari's on which I participated were:
- Museum Inside Out
- Madison Square Park

My husband and I did two safaris with Zim. Zim was great really making sure we were getting the best out of our cameras, learning how to compose great photos and learning some tricks of the trade. We would really recommend the night time safari.
Highly recommend this photo safari. Great, personal instruction from Zim. One of the highlights of my family's trip.

I have now been on three of the photo safaris and all have been great experiences. The most recent one, NYC the UPshot was probably my favorite. My wife and I have been on four of these safaris and they have all been great. Our instructor, Zim, is not only highly qualified, but has a very pleasant personality and is always very patient with novices like me and more seasoned hobbyists. She has always given personal attention to everyone, even when the groups were a bit larger....

My sister was in town visiting a few weeks back and wanted to try a photo safari so we took the Madison Square Park tour. She is a bit of a camera bug and loved it, said it was the hilite of her visit! I am more of a casual shooter, I just take vacation photos. So I was not...

The group felt to large, at one point we got separated and had to wait for the guide to come back and get us. Liked the technical aspects and thinking about shot composition but just to large a group 8 people.
