Absolutely hilarious. I've seen a lot of broadway shows, in various genres and if you love the 80s and are looking for a good time go see Rock of Ages. The smaller theatre gave it a more intimate surrounding - you felt almost involved in the show. Great talent, hilarious script. Forget the movie - go see this on Broadway!

This was a great show! I took some non English speakers to see it and they loved it even not understanding the texts, they knew the songs and sang along. Plenty of iconic songs and lots of humor. The crowd really gets into it to. The only thing not to love was the ladies bathroom line which lasted the whole... More

This show plays in the smallest theatre off broadway and is well worth going to. The music will bring you back to the 80's and the comedy factor is outrageous. I would not suggest taking kids as there are some scantily clad women and some humour that is a little raunchy.

The show is in its numerous extension and the cast isn't the quality of what it once was, but you'll love the show. Every song will make you recall a memory from when your friends didn't talk about surgeries and medicines. The cast has decent voices and their renditions play good tribute to the originals. A good night all around.

I highly recommend Rock of Ages if you are looking for a great show packed with iconic music and plenty of laughs. We went to the Sunday matinee, and noticed our audience was fairly reserved; I believe an evening show would be best to get the full experience with an interactive crowd. The theatre is small, yet comfortable with great... More

A fiancé and I decided to watch the show at Helen Hayes in NYC, not knowing what to expect as we hadnt looked into it. It seemed we were quite young (23) compared to other audience members but then it is based around 80's music! We were second row on the aisle and when the show started and first female... More

If you don't like rock music from the 80's you will not like this show. It is basically one alcohol, drugs and sex infused concert on Broadway. The story is ridiculous but who care! It is absolutely hilarious and I dare you to try and not sing a long to all the classics they perform. I was lucky enough to... More

I saw Rock of Ages with my mom while on a girls trip to NYC. If was the second time I had seen ROA, but the first time in NYC and it did not disappoint. My mom was laughing (as was I) all show long. It was fun, and funny and has a great message to boot. It definitly isn't... More

This is one of the better shows I have seen recently. Music is great and the cast is wonderful. The theatre has the slowest and worst/most bureaucratic admission procedures of any we have experienced resulting in a long and slow line to enter the theatre. The security staff/ushers at the stage before, during and after the performance were extremely over... More

What a great time!. This is the first musical where I actually enjoy every single song. Funny and talented, the cast took us back in time to those good moments we had in the 80s and 90s. I almost felt like I was "Back in Time". If you liked the rock ballads and heavy metal, Poison , Bon Jovi, etc...this... More
