This is the shopping haven of NYC. A long strip of stores. But dont get stuck on the main drag only, there are a lot of fun shops just a block off the main drag!

Being a Londoner, there is no surprise I love Soho, with it's lower buildings, it definitely has a more welcoming feel than the skyscrapers of up town. Some great shops there too
It just feels like a new shop is to be discovered on every block and around every corner. The main streets can get crowded so wondering up and down the side streets in SoHo can be more fun.
I have lived in NYC off and on for over 20 years. SoHo has changed much over the years. It actually began as an Italian neighborhood. Most have moved out now as property values have soared. Anywhere you go, you'll be presented with many many great restaurants, terrific high end shopping and many unique experiences as well.

I enjoyed walking down the streets and looking at nice interesting stores from the outside. The atmosphere here in SOHO is quite different from places like the Times Square and 5th Ave. Seems like it's less crowded around here. Great variety of shops, from highstreet to boutiques to designer. Definately my favourite place for shopping in new york. Love how it has more of a chilled out vibe and less busy and rushed than some other areas of new york. Branded shops very cheap compared to uk prices. A must visit place!
Perfect shopping destination. If you like brands like: Burton sports, Quicksilver, Topshop, 7 for all mankind, Moncler, G star and many many more you should make your shopping there. Very trendy people around.
After being in Times Sqaure, Wall St, the waterfront, Chinatown, Little Italy we stumbled upon Soho. It was totally different. Lots of young people full of shopping energy. A great variety of stores and if you wife and daughter are shopping there is plenty of people watching for you and your son on the streets...
People walk more slowly and seem to breathe more deeply in this neighborhood that was once the stomping grounds of Warhol and Basquiat. Still, 50 galleries remain, including the flagship galleries for AFA & Opera, tucked in between the super-gentrified retail, with the likes of Emporio Armani, etc..... But there are strange places like Evolution, awesome chocolate shopes like Voges...

There are lots of cool shops there, we bought a lot of clothes and shoes, and we even went to a shop where Lady Gaga bought some clothes. Nice to shopoholiks, not so much for your wallet...
