I understand that this restaurant is staffed and run by students in their final year. I went here with a large group of work colleagues. The team here had managed to have our tables ready on time despite the first sitting.
The service was OK, not great. I suspect as they were full and busy.
The food, however, was excellent...

Don't get me wrong. The food is still great and you get excellent value. But the service was far better four years ago. We went four times in four years there and tonight it was service like in a very casual diner. Does not fit the image they sell.

We think this offers some of the best food in New York City especially if you wish to dine versus just eat. It is located in the Tribeca area on Grand and another street. It is small and the service is excellent. The food is superb.
