Central Park is an experience to say the least. In the middle of such a big metropolis, it is interesting that there can be such a huge area of natural scenery. If you are going, be sure to check out the zoo! Lot's of other attractions close by as well.

For me, Central Park is the best attraction in NY! I loved the park! Mainly on weekends, that's always a festival happening around, with music, people and food!

Central Park is allways beautiful, but specially in the Spring when the trees blum. The Japan day was also very interesting.

The park was in full bloom and a peaceful retreat from the busy city! Lunch at the Boathouse was a perfect! Our food was delicious and service friendly and professional.

Sunday was a beautiful sunny day. EVERYBODY wanted to be in central Park. Every Rock had a body laying on it. Children and adults playing ball, roller blading, Bicycling, and just admiring the greenery that the park has to offer. Highly recommeded. Carriage ride is about 80-100 dollars depending on the length of the ride (minutes).

Endless green in a grey city...Start in front of Sarabeth - excellent food - and walk into the park from the hill. Do not miss spitting anpakas...

We got married and the bottom of the Gapstow Bridge in The Pond area. It was a perfect setting for our small group and I could not have asked for more friendly caring people around us. It was a day to remember forever.

Careful getting a bike, you are not allowed on paths within the oark, only roads. Walking is just great fun, it was cold but once you are going so many things to do and see you don't notice the cold, stages, fountains, rocks to jump off, ice skating, coffee, Metropol, lake

The park has it all: meandering trails, jogging/biking paths, carousel for kids of all ages, skating rinks, zoo, and lots and lots of beautiful grounds, hills, plantings. Yes, you can be surrounded by the city but still have opportunities for birding, relaxing and enjoying nature. Need to go cross town? WALK across the park instead of taking the bus. You'll...

we ended up picking a really nice sunny and warm day to head up to central park from our hotel and it was wonderful, the view of everyone sat out in the sunshine with the skyscrapers in the background was a fab sight, we didn't take a horse and carriage trip as we had been told they were a rip-off...
